Bronx Action Goes to Washington!

Bronx Action for Justice and Peace has arranged for a bus to Washington for the events of Saturday, March 15, 2003.

THE DETAILS (a message from Frank):

Bronx Action for Justice and Peace is renting a 49-passenger bus to go down to Washington, DC on Saturday, March 15th for an 11th hour demonstration to stop the madness. The demonstration is being called the "Emergency National Ant-War Convergence." It is sponsored by ANSWER, and by United for Peace and Justice, among others.

We needn't tell you of the importance of keeping up the pressure and the momentum at this critical moment. This war is not inevitable.

We also needn't tell you that we have only a few days to fill the bus, so we are counting on those of you who are interested to get back to us ASAP.

Here's what you need to know:

· The cost of the round trip is $30 per person; more if you can, less if you need to. (No one will be turned away.)

· The bus leaves from Jerome Ave. and Bedford Park Boulevard (beneath the Bedford Park Blvd. stop on the No. 4 train) at 6:00 AM. It will return to the same spot at approximately 10:30 PM on the same day.

· Preferred method of payment is by check made out to Bronx Action for Justice and Peace and mailed (in time to reach us before 3/15) to:

· To ensure that you have a seat on the bus, please call Frank Farkas, at 718-543-6963 or Jordan Moss at 718-652-5579 by Sunday, March 9th.

· If you want to reserve seats for others, please provide us with their names and telephone numbers/e-mails and ask them to follow the payment procedure above.

· Bring food. We would like to get down to DC without stopping to eat. (We will have time for a food stop on the way back in the evening.)
