We are a grassroots group made up of local Bronx residents that formed in the wake of September 11. We are dedicated to pursuing non-violent solutions to stop terrorism and create a more peaceful world (read our MISSION STATEMENT here). Our website is designed to keep our local community informed of our efforts and to encourage more folks to join us in making these efforts succeed. The Bronx: real people United for real Justice and lasting Peace! Support Our Troops: Bring Them Home Now! Members of Bronx Action for Peace and Justice invite you to join us leafletting and keeping vigil outside the Military Recruitment Station on Fordham Rd. and the Grand Concourse in the Bronx to voice our collective concern and disapproval of the military's recruitment efforts in our neighborhood for this unjust war. Vigils take place every Saturday from 11:30am to 2:30pm at the Fordham Rd. Military Recruitment Station. |
